wetten.de launches Germany’s first accumulator calculator with a built-in bookmaker comparison
A free tool that works out the actual payout of any accumulator at every licensed bookmaker, betting tax and acca bonus included, and shows bettors which one pays out the most.

Berlin, September 17, 2026. A new independent sports betting portal is now online. At the heart of wetten.de sits Germany’s first accumulator calculator with an integrated bookmaker comparison, something no other German portal currently offers: bettors put together the accumulator they want, enter their stake and immediately see which licensed bookmaker pays out the most for that exact bet. The calculator takes into account each bookmaker’s current odds, its accumulator bonus rules and how it handles the betting tax. It is free, requires no registration and is aimed at everyone who bets on football.
In Germany, every sports bet is subject to a betting tax of 5.3 per cent. Whether the bookmaker absorbs it or passes it on to the customer is a major factor in the payout. Of the 21 licensed bookmakers compared on wetten.de, only five cover the betting tax in full, and two more do so on accumulators. Bookmakers also offer accumulator bonuses, boosting acca winnings by a percentage that rises with the number of selections.
For the same accumulator with the same stake, payouts differ noticeably from one bookmaker to the next. Up until now, anyone who wanted to know the difference had to do the maths separately for every bookmaker.

How the accumulator calculator works
Bettors pick one or more leagues, click a selection for each match (home win, draw, away win, over/under 2.5 goals or both teams to score) and enter their stake. The calculator then works out the actual payout if the acca wins for nine of the licensed bookmakers, including bet365, bwin, Betano and Interwetten.
Three factors go into the calculation: each bookmaker’s current odds for every single selection, its accumulator bonus rules depending on the number of selections, and its handling of the betting tax, which the bookmaker either absorbs or deducts from the stake or the winnings. The result is a ranking with the bookmaker offering the highest payout for that exact accumulator at the top. The differences between bookmakers are often considerable. wetten.de makes them visible down to the cent, and easy for anyone to follow. Odds are updated continuously.

The editorial team led by Editor-in-Chief Florian Güde previews the most important fixtures every day, from the Bundesliga to the Champions League. Every match comes with a free betting tip and the reasoning behind it. Form, injuries and suspensions, head-to-head records and the expected line-ups all feed into the prediction. Each tip comes with odds and the bookmaker currently offering them. In addition, wetten.de rounds up the strongest odds boosts from licensed bookmakers for that day’s fixtures, each showing the regular and boosted prices plus the uplift in per cent, making worthwhile promotions easy to spot at a glance.
Alongside this, the site offers a comparison of licensed bookmakers against fixed criteria such as odds levels, bonus terms, betting tax coverage, payout limits and live streams, a system bet calculator, a betting bonus comparison and a betting shop finder covering more than 1,200 retail betting shops across Germany. Only bookmakers holding a valid licence from the Gemeinsame Glücksspielbehörde der Länder (GGL), Germany’s joint gambling authority, are listed. The platform is funded through affiliate commissions. This costs users nothing and has no influence on ratings and rankings.
