Environment & Sustainability

Tree-Planting for a Greener Future – Through our “Let’s Plant a Tree Together” initiative, we are actively working to create greener communities. Our colleagues participate in tree-planting events around local schoolyards and parks, making these spaces more welcoming for children and families.
World Cleanup Day Participation – Every year, we join forces for World Cleanup Day. We take part in cleanup events on beaches, in forests, parks, and urban areas. These volunteering days bring our teams together with a common purpose: to protect nature and contribute to cleaner public spaces.
Supporting Environmental Research – We sponsor initiatives such as workshops on “Airborne FTIR Spectroscopy for the Environment” at Anhalt University and the INDIS Sustainability Challenges for 2025/26. Children & Education

Donations for Children with Disabilities – We partner with organizations to support children with special needs and their families. Our contributions include equipping classrooms with interactive smartboards, donating laptops, and providing access to therapies such as art, play-based, Montessori-inspired activities, and nutritional care.
Supporting Children with Special Needs – We proudly celebrate Children’s Day at a School for Children with Special Needs. Our colleagues spend the day with the students, flying kites, playing games, and even assembling a greenhouse for the youngsters to grow vegetables themselves. Engaging activities like these promote inclusivity, giving each child the opportunity to thrive.
Scholarships and Sponsorships – We support talented students by sponsoring Germany Scholarships at Potsdam University of Applied Sciences for the 2025/26 academic year. Additionally, we sponsor a former master’s student at HSLU who is developing a color collection for photovoltaics to help establish a spin-off company.
Encouraging Innovation and Digital Learning – We contribute to technical education by donating equipment to the NIT at the Hamburg University of Technology. Earthquake Relief for Turkey & Syria – In response to the devastating earthquake in Turkey and Syria in 2023, we provided significant financial support through the Red Cross. Our contributions helped provide urgent relief supplies and assist local communities in their long-term recovery efforts.
