A recent study from MIT’s Media Lab suggests that overreliance on AI solutions like ChatGPT could lead to a decline in critical thinking and cognitive performance over time.

Prof. Dr. Andreas Ditsche, CEO of iGaming.com and main contributor at iGamingCare, makes a similar prediction. In a conversation with legal expert, Steven Vrolijk, he says that some people might get dumber because of consistent and unrestricted use of AI.

Still, Prof. Dr. Ditsche and Vrolijk remain hopeful that AI could do more good than harm. One thing is sure – we’re living in unprecedented times, and a massive shift is already on the way.
